The past year has seen unprecedented changes as global financial and economic upheaval has affected every government and its citizenry worldwide. The "lessons learned" from this change will be critical for your government planning for the next one, five and ten year periods. In this course, participants will learn best practices in moving forward through the global crisis and to put in practice now new policies and regulations to ensure more accountability and transparency and reduce corruption in government operations and financing. Participants will be exposed to proven efficient approaches that improve the performance and delivery of government services, create higher levels of citizen satisfaction, end bureaucratic inefficiencies, and improve fiscal responsibility and accountability.

Through presentations, case studies, role-playing, simulated exercises, and on-site meetings with Public Sector Management and Governance experts and practitioners, participants will learn to develop their own Public Sector Management Action Plan for programs at the national (ministerial), governorate, and municipal levels.
