31 de mayo – 3 de junio 2011, Xiamen, China

Themed “The Role of Institutions in an Era of Change”, this workshop aims to provide young scholars working in public policy, public administration, political science and new institutional economics with a high-profile platform for research presentation, scholarly exchange, and mutual inspiration. In recognition of the relatively weak exchange mechanisms for young scholars in these areas, the Asian Society for Institutional Analysis initiated the organization of an international forum tailored to junior scholars in public policy, administration, and related fields around the world. This initiative has been greatly supported by the American Society for Public Administration and the School of Public Affairs, Xiamen University. This May, we will bring together young scholars from all over the world as well as distinguished mentors working in these areas in China’s most beautiful coastal city. A few selected papers will be considered for publication in renowned academic journals
